Summary

This study tests the drug osimertinib (Tagrisso) in 30 people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific EGFR mutation. The goal is to see how well the drug controls the cancer and to understand why it might stop working by comparing tumor samples before and after treatment. Participants must have stage IV cancer with the L858R or exon 19 deletion mutation and have not taken other EGFR inhibitors before.
