Your face might reveal sleep apnea: new study tests Non-Invasive diagnosis
NCT ID NCT06930404
First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether simple measurements like facial scans, videos of you speaking and blinking, and heart rate changes can help doctors diagnose obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Researchers will collect data from 800 adults who do not already have an OSA diagnosis. The goal is to find a faster, easier way to identify the condition without needing a full sleep study.
