First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding orofacial (face and mouth) and tongue exercises to standard manual therapy can reduce pain and improve jaw function in adults with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). About 48 participants will receive either manual therapy alone or manual therapy plus exercises twice a week for six weeks. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug way to ease TMD symptoms.
