New hope for hard-to-treat lung cancer: drug duo enters human testing

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug (ORIC-114) combined with an existing targeted therapy (amivantamab) in people with advanced lung cancer that has a specific genetic change (EGFR exon20 insertion). The goal is to find the best dose and see if the combination is safe and can shrink tumors. About 76 adults with this rare cancer type will take part.
