First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at how the natural fruit parts (like fiber and vitamins) in orange juice affect blood sugar levels. Twenty-five healthy men drank different orange juices with the same sugar but varying amounts of fruit matrix. Researchers measured blood sugar and insulin over two hours to see if the matrix helps slow sugar absorption.
