Summary

This early-phase trial tested two experimental drugs taken by mouth—FdCyd and THU—in 59 adults with advanced solid tumors that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal was to find a safe dose and see if the combination could control tumor growth. Participants took the drugs on a 21-day cycle, and treatment continued as long as the cancer responded and side effects were manageable.
