First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking dexamethasone (a steroid) on two fixed days each week for 3 months can stop active vitiligo from spreading in children aged 4 to 9. Researchers will monitor skin activity, growth, bone age, and side effects like blood sugar changes. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it, and ensure the treatment is safe for growing children.
