Summary
This study aims to find the best way to clean the mouths of patients on breathing machines in intensive care to prevent pneumonia. Researchers will compare using a small toothbrush versus a sponge stick on 72 patients over five days. They will check which method better reduces harmful mouth bacteria and lowers the risk of developing pneumonia.
