First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two classes of oral antibiotics—beta-lactams and non-beta-lactams—to treat bone infections in the leg or foot. About 1,418 adults who need at least 28 more days of antibiotics will be enrolled. The goal is to see if beta-lactams work as well as non-beta-lactams in curing the infection without needing to switch drugs or have surgery.
