First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares two classes of oral antibiotics—beta-lactams and non-beta-lactams—to treat bone infections in the leg or foot. About 1,418 adults will be enrolled to see if beta-lactams work just as well. The goal is to find effective, convenient treatment options that avoid the need for IV antibiotics or surgery.
