Gel patch could replace plastic stent for gum surgery pain

Summary
This study compares a new gel wound dressing called Ora-Aid to a standard plastic stent for reducing pain after gum graft surgery. Twenty adults having the procedure will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. Researchers will measure pain levels, painkiller use, wound healing, and patient satisfaction over 42 days.
