New framework aims to improve prescribing for hospitalized seniors

Summary
This study tests whether a training session for hospital doctors can help them feel more confident when prescribing medications for older adults with diabetes and high blood pressure. About 150 doctors will attend a one-time educational session and complete surveys before and after. Researchers will also call some patients to see if they understood any medication changes made during their hospital stay.
