New hope for elderly leukemia patients: which chemo works best?

Summary

This study compares two chemotherapy regimens for adults aged 60-75 newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who can tolerate intensive treatment. About 90 participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups to see which approach leads to better event-free survival and remission rates. The goal is to identify the most effective and safe induction therapy for this age group.
