Summary
This study tests a new under-the-tongue film (BXCL501) to help reduce the unpleasant symptoms of opioid withdrawal, like anxiety, pain, and nausea. It involves 160 adults with opioid use disorder who will receive the study drug, a placebo, or an existing non-opioid medication during a 7-day hospital stay. The goal is to see if the new drug is safer and works better than current options.
