First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at how many opioid pain pills patients actually take after leaving the hospital following surgery for bladder, kidney, or prostate cancer. About 684 adults will fill out a survey 30 days after discharge to report their opioid use and disposal. The study also tests whether a simple educational pamphlet helps people safely get rid of leftover pills.
