NCT ID NCT06027099
Summary
This study is testing a program to help people who have been taking opioid pain medication long-term to safely reduce their use after spine surgery. It combines counseling sessions with either a muscle relaxant or a placebo pill, comparing them to standard care. The goal is to find the best way to manage post-surgery pain while minimizing the risks of ongoing opioid use and misuse.
