Nerve block may slash opioid use after hysterectomy

Summary
This study tests whether a nerve block called an erector spinae block can reduce the need for strong painkillers (opioids) in women undergoing a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus). The trial will enroll 60 women and measure how much pain medication they need during and after surgery, as well as their pain levels. The goal is to find a safer way to manage pain and improve recovery.
