First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a nerve block called an erector spinae block can reduce the need for strong painkillers (opioids) in women having their uterus removed (hysterectomy). About 60 adults will take part. The goal is to see if the block leads to less pain and fewer opioid-related side effects after surgery.
