Summary
This study compares two different approaches for prescribing opioid pain medication to patients after abdominal cancer surgery. Researchers want to see which method provides better pain control while reducing leftover medication. The trial involves 170 adults undergoing elective abdominal cancer surgery who will be randomly assigned to receive prescriptions using one of two different calculation models.
