NCT ID NCT07306910

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether avoiding opioids during gallbladder surgery can reduce pain, nausea, and vomiting after the operation. About 110 adults having planned laparoscopic gallbladder removal will receive either opioid-free or standard opioid-based anesthesia. The goal is to see if the opioid-free approach leads to better recovery and fewer side effects.
