Summary
This study looks at how to improve opioid court programs in New York State. Researchers will work with court staff and treatment providers to help defendants quickly get medication for opioid use disorder. The goal is to see if these strategies increase treatment retention, reduce opioid use, and lower repeat offenses. Over 3,400 participants will be involved across multiple counties.
