Summary
This study tested whether a non-opioid painkiller called suzetrigine can help adults control pain and avoid opioids after outpatient facial plastic surgery. 100 adults took the drug as part of their standard pain plan. Researchers tracked how many opioid pills they used and whether they needed any rescue opioids in the first week after surgery.
