Healthy men needed to test new prostate cancer drug interactions
NCT ID NCT07548606
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests how a new prostate cancer medicine, opevesostat, behaves in the body when taken with or without itraconazole, a common antifungal drug. Fourteen healthy adult men will receive both drugs in a fixed order, and researchers will measure drug levels in their blood. The goal is to understand if itraconazole changes opevesostat levels, which will help determine safe and effective dosing for future prostate cancer patients.
