Stem cell eye treatment enters human trials

Summary
This study tests a new treatment called OpCT-001, made from stem cells, for people with inherited retinal diseases that cause vision loss. About 54 adults will receive a single injection of these cells under the retina. The goal is to see if it is safe and whether it can improve or preserve vision over one year.
