New lupus pill ONT01 enters human safety trials

Summary
This early-phase study tests whether a new drug called ONT01 is safe for people with lupus nephritis or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). About 61 participants will receive ONT01 alongside their usual lupus medications. The goal is to find the highest safe dose and see if it improves symptoms and disease markers.
