New drug aims to ease bladder pain in rare condition

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called ONO-1110 to see if it can safely reduce pain in people with Hunner type interstitial cystitis, a painful bladder condition. About 50 Japanese adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks. The main goal is to measure changes in average pain scores and track any side effects.
