First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested if speech therapy done through video calls could help infants with congenital heart disease who are fed only by tube. Twenty babies aged 0 to 12 months took part. A speech therapist guided parents through a 10-day online program. The goal was to see if the babies could drink more milk by mouth and improve their swallowing ability.
