Internet therapy helps teens manage anxiety and depression

Summary

This study tested an online cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) program for 60 teenagers with anxiety and depression. The program, called AMTE, teaches skills to manage emotions and reduce symptoms. Results showed that the online therapy was more effective than a control group in easing anxiety and depression, with benefits lasting up to 12 months.
