Virtual coaching helps therapists treat autism emotional struggles
NCT ID NCT05031364
Summary
This study compares two approaches to help children with autism who experience emotional difficulties like anxiety and irritability. Therapists will either use a specific cognitive behavioral therapy program with weekly online expert coaching, or continue their usual care with some self-guided training. The research aims to see which approach better improves children's emotional regulation and autism symptoms over time.
