First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests if adding special breathing exercises to online therapy can help people with social anxiety feel less afraid and avoidant in social situations. Researchers will recruit 96 adults with social anxiety and randomly assign them to either the new breathwork-assisted therapy or a control group. The goal is to see if this approach is more effective than standard online therapy alone.
