One-Room revolution: could this faster stroke treatment save more brains?
NCT ID NCT07052045
Summary
This study is testing whether treating severe strokes in one room instead of two leads to better recovery. Patients with severe stroke symptoms will be randomly assigned to either have their brain scan and clot-removal procedure done in the same room or in separate rooms as is standard. The main goal is to see if the faster one-room approach helps more patients regain independence in daily life 90 days after their stroke.
