One-Day brain zap trial aims to ease BPD suffering

NCT ID NCT07460947

Summary

This study is testing a new, one-day treatment for adults with borderline personality disorder (BPD) who are experiencing suicidal thoughts. The treatment combines a single dose of a medication with a full day of non-invasive brain stimulation sessions. Researchers want to see if this approach is acceptable to patients and if it can reduce BPD symptoms and suicidal thoughts over several weeks.
