New dissolvable strip could stop radiation sickness in kids with cancer

Summary
This study tests a dissolvable film containing ondansetron to prevent vomiting caused by moderate-risk radiation therapy in children aged 1-14 with cancer. About 60 kids will receive the film and be monitored for how well it controls vomiting and any side effects. The goal is to find a safe, easy-to-use treatment to improve comfort during cancer treatment.
