Summary
This study is testing whether taking Omega-3 supplements (like fish oil) alongside standard diabetes medication helps people with Type 2 Diabetes better control their blood sugar and improve their cholesterol. Researchers will compare 66 participants taking either Omega-3 or a placebo pill twice daily for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this common supplement provides measurable benefits for diabetes management when added to regular care.
