Fish oil pills tested as extra help for diabetes
NCT ID NCT07352618
Summary
This study is testing whether taking Omega-3 supplements (like fish oil) along with regular diabetes medication helps people with Type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar and improve their cholesterol. Researchers will compare 66 participants taking either Omega-3 or a placebo (a dummy pill) twice daily for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this add-on treatment provides extra benefits for managing the disease.
