Fish oil tested as natural support for lupus patients
NCT ID NCT07393399
Summary
This study will test whether daily omega-3 fish oil supplements can help reduce inflammation and cellular stress in women with lupus who have mild or inactive disease. 80 women will take either omega-3 capsules or placebo pills for 12 weeks while researchers measure markers of inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular aging. The goal is to see if this common supplement could be a safe, low-cost addition to help manage lupus-related inflammation.
