Fish oil tested as natural defense against lupus inflammation
NCT ID NCT07393399
Summary
This study is testing whether daily omega-3 fish oil supplements can help control the underlying inflammation and cellular stress in women with lupus. Researchers will give 80 women with stable lupus either omega-3 pills or placebo pills for 12 weeks to see if it improves their biological markers. The goal is to find a safe, low-cost nutritional approach to help manage the disease long-term.
