First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking omega-3 fatty acids (like fish oil) can lower the chance of breast cancer returning in women who have already been treated for a certain type of breast cancer. 80 women will take either a low or high dose of omega-3s for 12 months. Researchers will check breast tissue samples for changes that might show a protective effect.
