Summary
This study tested whether a newer pain medication (oliceridine) causes fewer breathing problems than a standard one (sufentanil) when used with sedation during colonoscopy or gastroscopy. Researchers compared 508 adult patients having these procedures to see which medication led to less oxygen drop. The goal was to find safer pain control options for common medical tests.
