Summary
This study looks at how well older adults (age 60+) can swallow and how healthy their mouths are while they are in the emergency department. Researchers will collect saliva, do simple swallowing and breathing tests, and ask questions. The goal is to learn how common these problems are and how they relate to other health conditions.
