New drug combo shows promise in shrinking breast tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests two drugs, olaparib and pembrolizumab, given before standard surgery for people with triple-negative or hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer who have inherited DNA repair gene mutations. The goal is to see if the combination can shrink tumors enough to improve surgical outcomes. About 23 participants will receive the drugs and be monitored for side effects and tumor response.
