First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether giving a single 5 mg dose of olanzapine before outpatient surgery helps women aged 18-50 feel better the day after. Participants took either olanzapine or a placebo, then reported their recovery quality and nausea levels. The goal was to see if the drug improves overall recovery and reduces post-discharge nausea.
