This study tested whether giving a single 5 mg dose of olanzapine before outpatient surgery improves how patients feel the day after. 384 women aged 18-50 took either the drug or a placebo. Researchers measured recovery quality using a detailed questionnaire and tracked nausea, pain, and opioid use after discharge.
