First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether Oketani massage, a gentle breast massage technique, can help first-time mothers breastfeed more successfully. Researchers will enroll 100 women who had a C-section to see if the massage improves latching, milk flow, and the mother's confidence. The goal is to offer a simple, drug-free way to support breastfeeding in the early days after birth.
