Sharper images, shorter meds: new study aims to cut bleeding risk after stents
NCT ID NCT07198529
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special camera (OCT) that takes detailed pictures inside heart arteries can help doctors place stents more precisely. If the stent is perfectly placed, patients with stable angina may only need blood-thinning medicine for a shorter time, lowering their risk of bleeding. About 130 adults will take part, and their results will be compared to standard care.
