AI and Super-Sharp heart scans aim to predict future heart attacks

NCT ID NCT07293858

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at 1000 people who already had a special type of heart artery scan (OCT) during a routine procedure. Researchers want to see if details in those scans can predict future heart problems. They will also use the scans to train an AI to automatically spot important features, which could help doctors make better decisions.
