First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at why people with OCD have strange or uncomfortable feelings (called sensory phenomena) and whether a type of brain stimulation can help. Researchers will use brain scans and EEG to compare people with OCD and healthy volunteers. They will also test if low-frequency magnetic stimulation on a specific brain area can reduce these feelings and OCD symptoms. The study involves 120 adults and is not yet recruiting.
