NCT ID NCT07163494
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study compares how well people with chronic jaw pain (temporomandibular disorder, or TMD) and healthy volunteers can detect very thin foils placed between their teeth. Researchers want to see if TMD reduces bite sensitivity and how it relates to other symptoms. About 80 adults will participate, and the results may help understand sensory changes in jaw disorders.
