This study tested whether a drug called obinutuzumab can prevent chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD), a common and serious complication after a stem cell transplant. The trial involved 181 people who had received a stem cell transplant from a donor. The main goal was to see if obinutuzumab could reduce the need for steroids to treat cGVHD in the first year after transplant.
