Summary
This study tested a new medication called aleniglipron (GSBR-1290) to help people with obesity or overweight lose weight. 85 adults took different doses of the drug or a placebo for 44 weeks, along with diet and exercise. The main goals were to check safety and side effects, and to see how well the drug works for weight management.
